Veteran Nollywood actress Ayo Mogaji has candidly spoken about her past relationship with fellow actor Jibola Dabo, shedding light on the circumstances surrounding their separation and the challenges she faced during her pregnancy.
In an interview on Seun Oloketuyi’s official YouTube channel, Mogaji clarified that she and Dabo were never married but were in a relationship that resulted in the birth of their son. She revealed that Dabo initially did not accept the pregnancy, making the journey difficult for her.
“I and Jibola were never married to each other, but God gave me grace through him because I was able to have a child through him. Jibola was just my boyfriend, and he didn’t accept the pregnancy of the only child I had for him,” she shared.
Despite the past challenges, Mogaji acknowledged Dabo’s efforts in their son’s life, particularly during his graduation. She expressed gratitude that, over time, he stepped up to support their child.
“When my son was doing his graduation in school, Jibola did the best he could do for him because he was present on the occasion with me and my son,” she stated.
Her revelations have sparked discussions about relationships, parenting, and the evolving dynamics between former partners. Many fans have praised her for her honesty, highlighting the importance of co-parenting despite past difficulties.
