Nollywood actress and filmmaker Mercy Aigbe has sent a strong message to parents, especially those involved in custody disputes, urging them to prioritize their children’s well-being.
The mother of two shared an email from a man who opened up about his struggles with co-parenting. The sender, who connected deeply with her movie Ada Omo Daddy, explained how he wants to be involved in his child's life but faces challenges from his child's mother.
Reacting to the message, Mercy Aigbe called on parents to put aside their differences and focus on what is best for their children. She emphasized that Ada Omo Daddy is more than just a film—it reflects the real-life struggles of many parents.
“Parents really need to do better,” she wrote. “How about setting differences aside and focusing on the well-being and what’s best for the kids? Ada Omo Daddy is touching lives; it’s a must-see for everyone.”
She also encouraged people to watch the movie, which is available on NaijaOnNetflix and Circuit Streams.
