Veteran Actress Yetunde Ogunsola Opens Up About Marriage to Late Actor "I Sho Pepper"

Renowned Yoruba Nollywood actress Yetunde Ogunsola has shared details about her marriage to the late veteran actor Chief Timothy Ishola Ogunsola, popularly known as "I Sho Pepper."

In a recent interview on her official YouTube channel, Ogunsola revealed that she was the seventh wife when she married her husband. However, despite already having multiple wives, he went on to marry two more women after her.

“When I got married to my husband, I was the seventh wife. After my marriage, he still went ahead and married two more,” she disclosed.

Speaking about her husband’s polygamous lifestyle, the actress noted that many of his wives did not stay long in the marriage. She explained that most of them would get pregnant and then leave. However, she stated that she was the most favored among all of his wives because they were both actors.

“Because my husband and I are both actors, he favored me more than any of his other wives,” she said.

Addressing whether her co-wives were envious of the special treatment she received, Ogunsola clarified that there was no jealousy between them. She emphasized that she had a good relationship with most of the other wives, as they saw her as an essential part of the family's financial support rather than a rival.

“No, I have a good relationship with most of my co-wives because they just see it as my husband and me being mercenaries who work to provide for them. So, they weren’t jealous because they saw monetary rewards from our work, as we were the ones making most of the money to feed the whole family,” she explained.

Her revelations offer a glimpse into the complexities of polygamous marriages and the dynamics within large families in the entertainment industry.
