Renowned Yoruba actress, Eniola Ajao, has opened up about the serious sacrifices she made to bring one of her film projects to life. In a recent interview on Biola Adebayo Ent’s official YouTube channel, the actress shared how she faced major financial challenges while trying to produce a movie, and how she courageously overcame them without asking for help.
According to Eniola, although she was deeply passionate about the project, she did not have the money to fund it. Instead of borrowing or seeking financial assistance, she chose a path of sacrifice, believing that taking loans could cause future problems.
Determined not to give up on her dream, the actress made a bold decision—she sold several of her personal belongings to raise money for the film. These included two of her cars, a piece of land, her jewelry, and some gold, all of which represented years of hard work and personal success.
Eniola revealed that she kept her decision secret because she feared people might discourage her from going ahead with such a big risk. She believed that staying quiet and focused was the best way to move forward.
In her words, “I sold my 2 cars, my land, my jewellery and some gold when I needed money to produce a movie. I didn’t tell anyone about it because they would have discouraged me... I gave the money to my movie producer to handle everything needed for the production.”
Her story has drawn admiration from fans and colleagues, with many praising her dedication, courage, and strong belief in her dream.
