CAF Player of the Year Ademola Lookman Honored by President Tinubu and Governor Sanwo-Olu After Historic Feat

 Nigerian football star Ademola Lookman, who recently made history by scoring a hat trick in the Europa League final and being named the 2024 CAF African Footballer of the Year, has continued to receive national praise.


He paid a courtesy visit to both Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Nigeria’s President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Governor Sanwo-Olu welcomed Lookman at the Lagos House in Marina and shared photos from the visit on X (formerly known as Twitter). He praised Lookman’s discipline, passion, and hard work, calling him an inspiration to millions of young Nigerians. The governor added that Lookman is a great example of what dedication can achieve.


Lookman also met with President Tinubu and proudly presented his CAF Player of the Year plaque. Photos showed a warm and joyful reception between the footballer, the President, and the Governor.


This visit highlights Lookman’s growing recognition in Nigeria, as he continues to shine both in African football and European club competitions.
