Veteran Yoruba actor Tito Harrison has shared the painful story of a serious health battle that almost took his life. Speaking during an emotional interview on “Talk to B Podcast” with actress Biola Adebayo, the actor revealed that he was diagnosed with a liver problem that left him in a coma for three days.
Tito explained that it all started with a sudden loss of appetite and nausea. At first, he didn’t realize how serious it was until doctors told him he had a critical liver condition. His health quickly got worse, and he had to be rushed to the hospital, where he slipped into a coma.
To pay for his treatment, Tito said he had to sell almost everything he owned, including land, cars, an uncompleted house, and even his wife’s car. The illness drained his finances and also put stress on his marriage, as some people around his wife began saying negative things about him—calling him a burden or bad luck.
Despite all this, Tito said he is grateful to God for surviving. He compared his experience to Job in the Bible, saying he believes this was a test of his faith. Before the illness, he had been known for helping many up-and-coming actors, but this health crisis changed his life completely.
Quote:
“God decided to test me just like Job. I couldn’t eat, I lost my appetite, and the doctor said I had a liver problem. It became so serious that I went into a coma for three days.”
