Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has expressed heartfelt gratitude after experiencing a touching moment with fans on the streets of Abuja.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, the actress was seen with her mother casually buying food when a crowd of excited fans recognized and surrounded her.
Regina explained in her caption that she had stepped out for an appointment but forgot her bank statement, which led her to visit a bank herself — something she hadn’t done in years. On her way out, she spotted her favorite fruit, avocado, and decided to buy it. However, she was caught off guard by the overwhelming love from fans.
Describing the moment as “wholesome, humbling, and human,” she wrote:
“I know this might sound a little random, but it’s such a sweet moment. Yesterday, I had an appointment and completely forgot my bank statement. Since I was out already, I said I might as well walk into the bank for the first time in years.
On my way out, I stumbled on my favourite: avocado.
Anyone who truly knows me knows how much I live for street food. But what I wasn’t prepared for was the warm, overwhelming love I got. And honestly, it caught me off guard.”
The video has since gone viral, with fans praising Regina for her humility and love for the everyday street life, despite her fame and status.
