Nollywood actress Omowunmi Ajiboye has spoken openly about her life after parting ways with her former husband and fellow actor, Segun Ogungbe. In a recent interview on Oyinmomo TV’s YouTube channel, she made it clear that she will no longer act in romantic movies with Segun.
“I can’t do a romantic movie with Segun again. I have my own boyfriend now, and he has a wife,” she said.
Her statement sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians surprised by her honesty — especially her revelation that she is now in a relationship with a married man, which drew criticism.
Ajiboye, however, maintained her position. She emphasized that although she still respects Segun as a colleague and the father of her children, she now chooses to keep a professional and emotional boundary for the sake of self-respect and personal peace.
The actress added that she’s focused on her happiness and career and is determined to move forward with her life. Despite the backlash, she continues to do well in the Yoruba movie industry and is committed to making choices that reflect her current reality.
