“Who’s Next?” – Gospel Singer Kehinde Adegbodu Mourns Toluwanisings

Gospel singer Kehinde Adegbodu has paid an emotional tribute to his late colleague, Toluwanisings, recalling how the deceased singer visited his family to offer condolences following the death of his twin brother, Taiwo Adegbodu.

Kehinde shared a throwback video of Toluwanisings paying the condolence visit, reflecting on the painful irony that the singer who comforted him during his period of grief would also pass away just seven months later.

According to Kehinde, Toluwanisings sympathised with him and his family during their difficult time and even offered prayers for them, unaware that he would soon join his late twin brother.

Describing Toluwanisings’ death as sad, painful and frustrating, the gospel singer expressed his shock over the loss and reflected on the uncertainty of life and death.

In his tribute, Kehinde wrote:

“When we lost my twin brother, Taiwo Adegbodu, you came to sympathise with our family and me. You even prayed for me that day, not knowing that you would join him just seven months later. This is so sad, painful and frustrating.

“The Bible says there is only a step between life and death. The mystery remains: who is next?

“May the Lord accept your soul, brother Toluwanisings. It is well with your wife and those innocent kids.”

Kehinde’s tribute highlights the emotional bond between the two gospel singers and the painful reality of losing loved ones. He also extended his prayers to Toluwanisings’ wife and children as they navigate life without him.
