Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, the newborn son of Nollywood star Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, has already set a social media record just hours after his arrival.
It was earlier reported that sisters Toyin and Kudirat Ogunro announced the good news of Priscilla and Juma Jux welcoming their first child, a baby boy. Actress Iyabo Ojo, who is now a grandmother, confirmed the birth by sharing photos from the labour room with her daughter and grandson. She proudly introduced the baby’s name as Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, while urging fans to welcome her into the “grandma club.”
Less than 24 hours after his birth, baby Rakeem’s Instagram account had already gathered more than 100,000 followers, a rare milestone for a newborn. As of the time of reporting, he has 106,000 followers and only follows two people — his parents.
His first post was a joint upload with his mum and dad, featuring adorable photos and clips of himself, his mother Priscilla, and his grandmother Iyabo Ojo. His Instagram bio proudly carries his full name, Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, while his parents are expected to manage the account.
