President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has penned a touching tribute to his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as she marks her 65th birthday today.
In a lengthy post shared on his official Instagram page, the President described the First Lady as “the love of my life, whose quiet strength and enduring grace have been my steadying anchor.”
Tinubu reflected on their journey together, from the struggles of political exile to the responsibilities of leadership, praising her for standing by his side with dignity, patience, and devotion.
He further described Remi Tinubu as more than just his wife, calling her his confidant, counsellor, and a steady flame that lights his path. According to him, their children and grandchildren see in her an example of compassion and faith, while the nation sees “the true strength of womanhood; resolute yet tender, humble yet unshakably firm.”
The President also acknowledged her sacrifices, noting that she has served the country not from the podium but from the heart of their home.
He expressed gratitude for her life, health, and love, adding that he feels blessed every day by her presence.
“Happy 65th birthday, Oluremi. May the years ahead be filled with joy, peace, and the fulfilment you so richly deserve,” he wrote.
