Nollywood actor Afeez Owo has shared heartwarming details about his long-lasting marriage to fellow actress Mide Martins.

Speaking during an interview on Oyinmomo TV, Afeez revealed that he and his wife use unusual but meaningful pet names for each other. He calls her “Iya Alekuleja”, while she calls him “Baba Elere.” According to him, they may not be the typical “dear” or “honey,” but they perfectly reflect the closeness and fun in their relationship.

He explained that their marriage is not one where the husband must act strict or the wife must stay quiet. Instead, they have found a healthy balance that works for them, and he believes God has been faithful to their union.

Expressing gratitude, Afeez praised Mide for her patience and support throughout their 22 years together. He made it clear that contrary to rumors or misconceptions, his wife is not a difficult person.
