Chioma Adeleke Reacts Emotionally as Davido Names Hostel After His Late Mother

Chioma Adeleke, wife of Nigerian music star Davido, has celebrated her husband’s latest act of kindness after he commissioned a hostel named in honour of his late mother, Veronica Adeleke.

Davido, alongside his 30BG crew and nightlife businessman Cubana Chief Priest, visited Abia State to officially open the new hostel at Clifford University. During the ceremony, Davido explained that the building was not only for his mother but also dedicated to “every young African chasing their dreams and believing they can rise together.”

Chioma responded to the news on her Instagram story with a short but heartfelt message, writing: “So beautiful.”

Davido’s mother, Veronica Adeleke, passed away in 2003 at the age of 40, and the gesture has been widely praised as a touching tribute.

Chioma’s Supportive Reactions to Her Husband’s Wins

Chioma has consistently shown public support for Davido’s achievements:

When news broke that Davido will headline Coachella next year, she reposted the announcement with crying and fire emojis, expressing both pride and excitement.

In September, she reflected on their high-profile wedding, posting new photos and admitting she was still in disbelief that it had already been a month since they tied the knot. Davido commented under the post, calling it “the best day ever.”

A Strong Love Story

During their wedding vows, Chioma described Davido as “my love, my best friend, and the calm in my storm,” promising to walk with him forever.

Davido, in return, said Chioma “saw the real me and still chose me,” calling her his “healer and calm in the storm,” and thanking God for bringing her into his life to show him unconditional love.

Their bond continues to draw admiration, with many praising Chioma for her quiet strength and Davido for honouring both his wife and his late mother with equal devotion.
