“I Feel Sorry for Those Who Have Only One Wife” – Ned Nwoko Speaks as He Defends Polygamy (Video)

Nigerian politician and businessman Senator Ned Nwoko, who is married to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has openly defended the practice of polygamy.

During an interview on Channels Television, Nwoko stated that he feels sorry for men who have only one wife, comparing it to “standing on one leg,” which he described as uncomfortable and unstable. He explained that having two or more wives provides better balance and fulfillment in life.

The senator emphasized that he has no regrets about being married to multiple women and would gladly do the same if given another chance in life. According to him, every individual should have the freedom to marry as they wish.

Addressing circulating allegations of domestic violence involving his actress wife, Regina Daniels, Nwoko firmly denied being abusive. He maintained that he is a peaceful man who deeply respects and loves all his wives and children.

In his words:

“Standing on one leg is very difficult, but standing on two, three, or more is balanced. I feel sorry for those who marry one wife because it is difficult to stand on one leg. I don’t have any regrets about marrying multiple wives, and I would do the same thing again. You should marry who you want to marry. I am not a violent person. I respect my wives and love them and my kids.”

His comments have sparked mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians debating his views on marriage and polygamy.
