Billionaire politician Ned Nwoko has responded publicly to the ongoing controversy surrounding his marriage to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels. His reaction comes after a viral video showed Regina in tears, accusing him of domestic violence — a clip that sparked nationwide concern and outrage.
Taking to Instagram, Nwoko posted a chaotic video allegedly recorded in their home, along with a lengthy statement titled “Regina’s Unprovoked Carnage And Rampage In My House And In My Absence.”
In his statement, Nwoko denied assaulting Regina and instead claimed that her alleged struggle with drug and alcohol abuse was the true cause of their marital problems.
“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety,” he wrote.
He further alleged that Regina recently turned violent, claiming she slapped and attacked three members of their staff within 48 hours and damaged cars and windows in the house. He also stated that their son, Moon, fell ill, but instead of taking him to the hospital, Regina allegedly stopped the home nurse from attending to him and even threatened her.
According to Nwoko, he had to personally take their son to the hospital while chaos allegedly broke out at home, which he blamed on Regina’s brother, Sammy, whom he described as her “main drug supplier.” He also mentioned another alleged supplier named Ann.
He stated that he had offered Regina two options for rehabilitation — one in Asokoro and another in Jordan — emphasizing that she needed treatment away from access to drugs.
Nwoko's statement follows earlier accusations from Regina’s brother, Sammy West, who claimed the senator physically assaulted her, allegations Nwoko has firmly denied.
The situation remains tense, with the public deeply divided. Many fans continue to express support for Regina, urging authorities to investigate both sides of the story as the marital dispute unfolds in full view of social media.
