Before the performance began, Franklin stepped on stage and led the crowd in a powerful prayer for Nigeria, asking God for peace, healing, and progress for the nation. Prophetess Victoria Olufunke Fayose, the mother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has cried out to Nigerians for prayers as she faces a troubling family crisis.
In a viral video released on Friday, the elderly woman spoke emotionally in Yoruba, claiming that one of her grandsons is trying to forcefully evict her from a house allegedly gifted to her by her son.
She introduced herself and shared her pain:
“My name is Mrs. Olufunke Fayose, mother of former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose. Please pray for me and my children. This problem is beyond my understanding. I am confused because it is strange for my grandchildren to threaten me and try to chase me out of their father’s house.”
She added that the situation breaks her heart, especially after all she endured raising her children:
“These children were not born when I suffered with my own children, and now look at my life. Please pray for me and my family.”
Her video has generated emotional reactions nationwide as many Nigerians express shock and sympathy over the unfolding family issue.
