Rapper Olamide has dismissed rumors of a fallout with Asake, assuring fans that their bond remains strong despite Asake leaving YBNL Records.
In a recent BBC interview, the YBNL founder emphasized that business decisions have not affected their personal relationship. He described Asake as “my brother for life” and said:
“We’re still family. That’s my brother for life. It’s always the same thing with me and all my people — business is never personal, and after business, life goes on.”
Speculation about a rift arose after Asake departed from the label and updated his social media profiles, but Olamide’s statements confirm that the two remain close, putting an end to the rumors.
