Regina Daniels’ Mother Goes Off on Ned Nwoko Over Son’s Arrest: “You’ll Go Down!”

The ongoing feud between Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, has taken a dramatic turn as Rita Daniels, Regina’s mother, publicly lashed out at the politician following the arrest of her son.

In a viral video shared online, Rita Daniels accused Ned Nwoko of using her daughter for fame and influence. She alleged that the senator married Regina only to boost his fallen star and warned him not to bite the finger that fed him.”

Rita further revealed that her daughter supported Ned’s senatorial campaign with $50,000, insisting that their family had always protected his image and reputation, portraying him as an “Odogwu” (a man of influence).

“You wanted someone with a high star to boost your fallen star. If you think you can bite the finger that fed you, you’ll go down. My daughter supported your senatorial election with $50k. We’ve been covering for you, making you look like an Odogwu — you’re mad,” she said angrily.

The outburst comes after Regina publicly cried out, accusing Ned Nwoko of ordering the arrest of her siblings to pressure her into returning to him. She also previously alleged domestic violence during their marriage, while Ned claimed she was battling drug and alcohol abuse — an accusation her family has strongly denied.

Regina’s brother Sweezy and sister Destiny Daniels have also spoken out, sharing photos of injuries and dismissing Ned’s claims, further fueling the public controversy surrounding the once-celebrated union.
