Nigerian media personality Toke Makinwa has joined many Nigerians in counting down to the Christmas season, and this year is extra special for her.
The former on-air personality, who will be celebrating Christmas as a mother for the first time, shared a heartwarming video on her Instagram page. In the clip, her daughter, Yakira, was seen standing beside a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, dressed in matching pyjamas with her mum.
Toke praised her daughter for doing a great job during the video shoot and jokingly revealed that Yakira was paid for her appearance. She described the moment as their first Christmas together and expressed excitement about the festive season.
“Guess who is getting into the festive season with mommy… Our first Christmas together. Yakira did so well shooting this with me; don’t worry, guys, she got paid for her appearance too. Christmas is coming,” she wrote.
