Former NURTW president, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, has publicly celebrated Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo as she marked her 48th birthday, drawing widespread reactions online.
Taking to his Instagram page, MC Oluomo described Iyabo Ojo as a phenomenal actress, a strong woman, and a loving mother whose talent, courage, and grace continue to inspire many people. He praised her impact in the movie industry and beyond, saying it speaks volumes about her resilience and kind heart.

The warm exchange comes after a previously strained relationship between Iyabo Ojo and MC Oluomo. In March 2023, both clashed publicly over political differences during the presidential election. Iyabo had supported Labour Party candidate Peter Obi, while MC Oluomo backed APC candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Despite the fallout, Iyabo later clarified during an Instagram live session that she was never in a relationship with MC Oluomo and condemned attempts to control people because of past favours. However, she stated that she still had love and respect for him and was open to reconciliation.
In a show of goodwill, Iyabo Ojo later congratulated MC Oluomo on his appointment as National President of NURTW and even celebrated him on his birthday, calling him her “dear friend and paddy for life.”
MC Oluomo’s birthday tribute to Iyabo Ojo has now been seen by many as a clear sign of peace, maturity, and mutual respect between both public figures.
