A Nigerian man who claims to look like Afrobeats star Davido has caused a stir on social media after alleging that a young girl now believes he is her father.
In a viral video, the man explained that the incident started during a night out at a club in Owerri. According to him, the girl, identified only as Anu, mistook him for Davido because of his strong resemblance to the singer.
He said he tried to correct the misunderstanding and told her clearly that he was not Davido. However, he claimed the girl was too excited to believe him and eventually followed him to his hotel.
The man stated that things later took a dramatic turn, as the girl allegedly began to believe he was her father. Making an emotional appeal in the video, he said he never intended to deceive anyone and asked Davido for forgiveness, insisting the situation was not a joke.
