Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde has reacted to the trending audio conversation involving Femi Adebayo’s wife, Omotayo Sanusi (popularly known as Iyan Aladuke), and their colleague, Olatoun Olanrewaju.
The audio surfaced after Olatoun allegedly leaked it online to counter claims and accusations previously made against her by Iyan Aladuke. In the recording, Iyan Aladuke was heard making strong statements, including threats to damage the reputation Femi Adebayo is trying to protect and comments directed at his father, veteran actor Adebayo Salami. She also allegedly spoke about plans to bring down Femi Adebayo’s Instagram page, which she claimed he values deeply.
Reacting to the controversy, Bimpe Akintunde said the incident explains why she deliberately avoids close relationships with her colleagues’ partners. According to her, mixing closely with colleagues’ spouses often leads to unnecessary drama and misunderstandings.
In a blunt reaction shared online, Bimpe stated in Yoruba-English slang that she keeps her distance to avoid trouble, stressing that once words are spoken, problems usually follow. She added that peace of mind is more important to her than getting involved in situations that could later turn messy.
Her reaction has sparked further conversations online, with many social media users agreeing with her stance, while others continue to debate the ongoing controversy surrounding the leaked audio.
