Nollywood actress Olatoun Olanrewaju has shared an audio recording of a private phone conversation between herself and Iyan Aladuke, the wife of actor Femi Adebayo, as the rift between both women deepens.
Speaking strictly from her own account, Olatoun explained that she released the audio to defend herself after being accused and blamed for issues in Femi Adebayo’s marriage. She said she had kept quiet for a long time, but felt forced to speak when false stories about her continued to spread.
According to Olatoun, she took Iyan Aladuke to a church to pray, not to a shrine, as was later alleged. She said Iyan allegedly used that church visit as part of a false narrative to blackmail Femi Adebayo into returning home.
In her words, Olatoun said she warned Iyan against going down that path and told her she was scared of being dragged into lies. However, she claimed she later began hearing from different people that she was being accused of taking Iyan to a shrine.

Olatoun said this damaged her reputation and made it seem as though she was the cause of the family crisis. She questioned how she could defend herself without proof and explained that this was why she decided to release the audio recording.
She also stated that despite trying to help mediate peace between the couple, she was continuously attacked and blamed. Olatoun stressed that she was not the root cause of the problem and called on Iyan Aladuke to publicly tell the truth about her own actions instead of shifting blame.
The released audio has since sparked intense reactions online, with many Nigerians debating the claims and calling for clarity, restraint, and respect for all parties involved.
