Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has taken to social media to celebrate her son-in-law, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, following his big win at the 9th edition of the African Music Awards (AFRIMA).
The prestigious music event was held on Sunday, January 11, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, and brought together top artistes from across the continent. Juma Jux emerged as the winner of the Best Male Artist in Eastern Africa category, a victory that surprised many fans and attendees.
Reacting to the news, Iyabo Ojo shared her excitement on Instagram as she congratulated him on the achievement. She proudly referred to him as her son and praised his success at the award ceremony.
“Sexiest glamma live at AFRIMA awards. Congratulations, son @juma_jux, on your award,” she wrote.
