Nollywood actress Rita Daniels has publicly shown strong support for her daughter, Regina Daniels, amid her ongoing and controversial divorce from billionaire businessman Ned Nwoko.
On Instagram, Rita reposted a video of Regina taking a drug test and described her as her “forever pride.” She prayed for God’s continued blessings and protection over Regina and encouraged her to remain strong and focused. In her words, she urged her daughter to keep shining and move forward despite the challenges.
Regina had earlier shared the drug test video to address allegations that she is addicted to drugs. She explained that the past few months have been extremely difficult for her and described the period as a major turning point in her life. According to the actress, she decided to take the test to clear her name and to be accountable to the people who love, support, and look up to her.
The young actress is currently facing a tough time, as she is reportedly going through a messy divorce from her husband of over six years, Ned Nwoko, and is also involved in a custody battle over their children.
Recall that in November, Regina announced the end of her marriage, accusing her husband of domestic violence. In response, Ned Nwoko released a public statement claiming the marital crisis was linked to what he described as Regina’s struggle with drug and alcohol abuse. He also alleged that his attempts to get her professional help were repeatedly rejected.
As the controversy continues, Rita Daniels’ message has been seen by many fans as a clear show of motherly support and solidarity with Regina during one of the most challenging periods of her life.
