American rapper and streamer DDG has sparked discussion after revealing a personal rule he follows when spending money on women. Speaking publicly, the rapper explained that he never buys gifts for a girlfriend unless he has already given something similar or better to his mother first, saying doing otherwise “feels wrong.”
According to Complex, DDG emphasized that although some people think he is a big spender on women, he has strict boundaries. For instance, before buying a watch for a girlfriend, he ensures he has already bought one for his mother. The same principle applies to larger gifts, like cars, which he has purchased multiple times for her.
DDG also noted that while he can spend generously on dates, he does not pay a woman’s rent or buy a house outright for a partner. The only exception is if the property is a home they both share.
