Nollywood actress Faithia Williams is still grieving deeply following the death of her mother.
Over the weekend, it was reported that the actress lost her mother on the eve of her 55th birthday celebration. Faithia had earlier shared that the painful reality had not fully sunk in, describing her late mother as her cheerleader, prayer warrior, best friend, and gist partner.
Taking to her Instagram page again, the Yoruba movie star posted a dark photo to reflect her mood and heartbreak. In the emotional post, she wrote, “My world is dark and broken.”
Her message sparked an outpouring of sympathy from colleagues and fans in the comment section.
Actress Lola Magret comforted her, writing, “Please take heart, sis. Mama is in a better place.”
Debbie Shokoya also sent her prayers, saying, “Please take heart, ma. God will give you all the strength you need during this period.”
Monalisa Chinda reacted with, “Oh dear,” while Bigvaijokotoye added, “It’s well with you, ma.”
