Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has responded humorously after a fan asked how he eventually convinced his wife, Mo Bimpe, to marry him despite once calling him a brother.
The conversation started after an old video resurfaced online showing Mo Bimpe speaking about her relationship with Lateef years before their marriage. In the clip, the actress dismissed rumours linking them romantically and insisted that they could never get married because she saw him as a brother.
According to her at the time:

The old statement later sparked reactions online after a fan reposted the clip and jokingly asked the actor how he managed to change the situation and eventually marry her.
The fan wrote:
“Brother mi @thedimejilateef, how you take run am wey you later marry her? I need past questions abeg.”
Reacting to the question, Lateef Adedimeji replied with a simple relationship advice, saying there was no secret formula involved.
According to the actor:
“There are no past questions, like they say, marry your friend.”
His response quickly amused fans on social media, with many people praising the couple’s friendship-based relationship and successful marriage.
