Nigerian music star Davido has earned widespread praise after using his platform at the FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert to draw attention to the plight of kidnapped schoolchildren in Nigeria.
During his performance at the concert held at the Crypto.com Arena on June 10, 2026, Davido appeared on stage wearing a specially designed jacket dedicated to victims of a recent school abduction in Oriire, Oyo State.
Videos from the event showed that the jacket featured the names of the 39 abducted schoolchildren and seven teachers. On the back of the outfit was a powerful message that read:
“Bring Them Home.”
