Raheem Olasubomi Okoya, popularly known as SirRaheem, has shared the inspiring story of a longtime security officer who dedicated 49 years of service to the Eleganza Industrial City Limited before passing on his responsibilities to his son.
In a video posted on Instagram on June 19, 2026, SirRaheem was seen speaking with the elderly man, who reflected on his decades of service and his role in the early development of the Eleganza business empire founded by billionaire industrialist Razaq Okoya.
During the conversation, the veteran security officer recalled meeting Okoya as a young man when the businessman was building his factories. According to him, he earned the trust of the company founder and eventually became the head of in-house security at the ceramics factory, one of Eleganza’s earliest and most important ventures.
Sharing the experience, SirRaheem described the meeting as a powerful reminder of loyalty, resilience, and dedication. He praised the former security chief for his commitment and acknowledged the important role he played in the growth of the company over nearly five decades.
The singer and businessman also revealed that the man's son, who grew up around the ceramics factory, has now taken over his father’s position and currently serves as the head of in-house security in the same area.
SirRaheem expressed gratitude to the individuals who helped build the Eleganza brand, describing the father-and-son story as a remarkable example of dedication and continuity.
The video generated mixed reactions on social media. While some users praised the family's loyalty and long years of service, others viewed the story differently, arguing that it highlighted broader concerns about generational poverty and limited social mobility.
Some commenters described the development as commendable and inspiring, while others questioned whether a son following the same career path as his father after nearly five decades of service should be celebrated as a success story. Despite the differing opinions, the post sparked widespread discussion online about loyalty, legacy, and economic opportunity.
