Isaac Fayose Reacts to Brother Ayo Fayose’s REA Appointment, Describes It as a ‘Greek Gift’

Businessman and social commentator Isaac Fayose has publicly reacted to the appointment of his elder brother, former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, as the Chairman of the Board of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a video shared on social media, Isaac Fayose described the appointment as a "Greek gift," suggesting that while it may appear to be an honour, it could carry political implications. He expressed mixed feelings about the development and questioned the timing of the appointment.

According to Isaac, the announcement came shortly after Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi paid his brother a visit, prompting him to speculate that the move may not be a mere coincidence. Although he did not provide evidence to support his claims, he hinted that the appointment could have political undertones.

Despite his reservations, Isaac acknowledged that the position is a notable appointment, but maintained that its timing raised questions worthy of public discussion.

Others, however, urged Ayo Fayose to carefully consider his younger brother’s observations, while some dismissed the conversation entirely, describing it as another example of politically driven online content.
