Mr Latin Issues Order to TAMPAN Governors and Executives Following the Passing of Taiwo Hassan

 Following the death of veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, the President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, better known as Mr Latin, has directed all state chapters of the association to hold special prayer sessions.

In a memorandum addressed to TAMPAN State Governors and Executives, Mr Latin directed each state chapter to include a special prayer session in its next state meeting.

According to him, the prayer should focus on seeking God’s face, asking for forgiveness of sins, and praying for protection and preservation of living members from death, sickness and destruction.

He also called on members to pray for the souls of their departed colleagues, asking God to forgive their shortcomings and grant them peaceful repose.

Mr Latin urged all state governors to ensure that the directive is fully implemented across their respective chapters.

The TAMPAN president concluded the memorandum with prayers for God’s continued protection and preservation of members, forgiveness of their sins, and eternal rest for colleagues who have passed away.

The directive comes amid the mourning of Taiwo Hassan, whose death has continued to generate tributes and reactions from colleagues across the Nigerian entertainment industry.
