The actress said the major reason she believes some people continue to attack her is because of her decision to support Tinubu. Despite the backlash, she made it clear that she has no intention of abandoning her position.
According to Badmus, her support for the President remains unchanged, stressing that she is still standing by what she referred to as “that mandate.” voiceofnaija.ng
She said:
“The only reason they come at me is just that I support the president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. And whether you like it or not, on that mandate, me, Eniola Badmus, I am still standing.”
Badmus also emphasised the importance of allowing people to make their own political choices. She argued that democracy gives Nigerians the freedom to support whichever candidate or political figure they believe in.
“Everybody has the right to do whatever they want. It’s called democracy. Follow whoever you want to follow; I don’t criticise anyone for following whoever,” she added. PM News Nigeria
