“She asked where her husband was, and I stuttered” – Woli Agba mourns Toluwanisings, shares emotional message to late singer’s wife

Actor and content creator Woli Agba has penned an emotional tribute to the wife of late gospel singer Toluwanisings, following the singer’s death on October 14, 2026.

Toluwanisings’ family had confirmed his passing and appealed to the public to keep his wife and loved ones in prayers as they come to terms with the tragic loss.

In a heartfelt message, Woli Agba recounted the painful moment the late singer’s wife asked where her husband was. He said the seemingly simple question left him speechless because he struggled to find the right words to explain that her husband would no longer be coming home.

According to him, the last memory the grieving woman had of her husband was preparing to take their daughter to school, making the sudden loss even more difficult to comprehend.

Woli Agba admitted that he could not even find a Bible verse that adequately addressed the situation, describing the moment as heartbreaking and overwhelming.

He expressed concern about the emotional journey ahead for Toluwanisings’ wife, noting that her grief would extend beyond the funeral and public mourning. He said she would have to deal with painful memories, birthdays, anniversaries, lonely nights and the reality of no longer being able to share everyday moments with her husband.

The comedian prayed for God’s grace, the comfort of the Holy Spirit and strength for the bereaved woman, stressing that she needs people who will continue to stand by her even after the crowd and public attention have faded.

Woli Agba also described Toluwanisings as an angel and a unique voice whose music brought joy, touched lives and created beautiful memories for many people.

He concluded his tribute by expressing his deep pain over the singer’s death and praying for him to continue singing with the angels.
