Nobel Laureate Professor Wole Soyinka has vowed to keep his word to tear his Green Card if Donald Trump was elected US president.

Prof. Soyinka in an interview assured doubting people that he will fulfill his promise on the 20th of January 2017, the day Trump will be officially sworn in as the 45th president of the United States.

In the build up to the US election, Soyinka had threatened to trash his US green card, if the Republican candidate, Donald Trump, won.
