A group of frauds who are into cloning the mobile numbers of ministers, politicians and presidential aides have been arrested by the police.The suspects,47-yr-old Chief Ovie Ogogo,40-yr-old Abdulazeez Eragbe,49-yr-old Babatunde Oshamoto,25-yr-old Samuel Idah.

A total of 14 phones were recovered with various sim cards registered with names of top government officials were also recovered from the suspects.Among those impersonated were  Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari; the National Security Adviser, Babagana Moguno; the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibeh Kachukwu; and the Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun.They were also accused of impersonating a national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; the Senate President, Bukola Saraki; the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi; and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal.aThey collected 13m from one Ghanaian who wants to acquire an oil block in Nigeria,collected 4m from onr Nnamdi Udo under false pretence of helping him secure a federal appointment.They posed as the Chief of Staff to the president to collect 2.5 million from one Mr. Bishop,another 700k from one Shehu Dan Yahaya also seeking appointment from the federal government.Ogogo impersonates prominent people from the South-South and South-East,Eragbe impersonates famous people from the North,Oshamoto impersonates elite people South-West and North-Central while Idah provides the sim cards.The police told that they would soon be charged to court after the conclusion of their investigation
