The award-winning Nigerian singer David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, paid a visit to Oniru of Iruland.
The courtesy visit of the singer that he paid to the ruler yesterday, September 8, triggered reactions on social networks with Nigerians commending him over how humbleness and respect he had shown to the monarch.
The monarch who is glad of Davido's homage to his kingdom, took to Twitter and revealed the singer's visit.
He was pleased with Davido 's visit, according to the monarch, and revealed they had been discussing boosting tourism in the area.
His post on Twitter reads… “My lovely Olori @olorimariam and I were pleased to receive the very talented and sensational
@davido as well as @seyitinubu yesterday.
I was very pleased with our conversations and the prospects and possibilities for Tourism.”
