"We Lost A General But We Didn't Loose God, One Man Down, We Regroup And Advance" Pastor Adeboye Speaks Following His Sons Funeral.

Following the funeral of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye, Pastor E.A. Adeboye took to Twitter and YouTube to share a post.

After his 42-year-old son died unexpectedly, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God thanked all who sent messages of help to his family.

He went on to say that nothing happens in life without God being aware of it.

Pastor Adeboye said in a 10-minute video posted on YouTube and reshared on Twitter that when God speaks, you must submit and cannot deny him, even though it is not convenient for you.

He went on to say that his son's death at the age of 42 was not unusual.

“Death is not a function of age. Young people die, old people die, children die,” he said, adding, “We have also learnt it’s not how long you live, it’s how well.”

He used Jesus Christ and John The Baptist as examples of people who died young

He continued: “We have lost a champion… Let us consider him as a seed that we have sowed… Let us prepare for a very special harvest.”
