In the middle of their ongoing divorce saga, Anita Okoye, the estranged wife of Nigerian artist Paul Okoye, has asked that he pay her N7.8 million per month in spousal support.
This is one of the demands she made in the Abuja High Court petition she filed.
“Payment of a monthly maintenance sum of $15,000.00 (US Dollars) for the general welfare, education and health of the three children of the union who are presently in schools in the United States of America until they are of age,” part of the document read.
Anita wants Paul to be in charge of their three children's wellbeing in the United States of America.
On Friday, August 20, 2021, news of the celebrity couple's breakup broke.
Anita has requested the breakup of their marriage in a court document obtained exclusively by Pulse.
In the legal document, she also advised her now-estranged husband to oppose the petition if he was dissatisfied.
Anita ignited divorce rumors in April when it was revealed that she had moved to the United States with their three children.
Anita and Paul, who met at university and fell in love, wedded in a lavish wedding ceremony in Port Harcourt in 2014.
Andre, their first child, was born the previous year. Nadia and Nathan, their twins, were born in 2017.-
