Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Unwana, Ebonyi State, undergraduate student of Library and Information Science (LIS) has reportedly committed suicide due to heartbreak.
Olivia James, who runs a cake and small chops company while going to school, is claimed to have devoured poison after her boyfriend dumped her just days after her birthday.
According to stories shared online by her classmates, she was brought to the hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Olivia James was said to be serious about her relationship with Henry.
In July, she even updated her Facebook status to say she was dating.
However, their relationship was believed to be rife with infidelity.
Olivia allegedly discovered Henry cheating on her multiple times but forgave him.
Following her birthday on October 6, it was reported that she had a quarrel with Henry and that he was no longer responding her calls, and that whenever she dialed his number, a lady would answer.
She allegedly sent a message for one of her friends before killing herself, but the friend wasn't online at the time, and Olivia had already taken poison by the time she received the message and they rushed to her flat.
The boyfriend, Henry, is reported to be on the run.
