Popular Yoruba stars have come to the help of their colleague Kemi Afolabi, who is suffering from a terminal disease.
On March 11, 2022, Kemi Afolabi has disclosed her Lupus diagnosis.
The actress confessed that she has been diagnosed with lupus and that she only has five years to live in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
“I have lupus. It’s not curable. u just have to take medications for d rest of ur life. At a point I was exhausted after spending so much, I said I will stop & just wait for death to come ….but I brazed up for my daughter & have to continue spending d N1.2million on d medication doze weekly to survive….I have sold my cars, property, capital for business, etc…..& Funke Akindele has been helpful, Toyin Abraham, Mercy Aigbe & others reached out & have been there…but I still need more support to be able to continue with my medication…”.
In an unexpected turn of events, the actress, who previously claimed that she spends millions of Naira per week on therapies, has now appealed to the general people for help.
