NOLLYWOOD ACTOR, KUNLE REMI QUESTIONS HOW FEMALE ACTORS DO BETTER THAN MALE FINANCIALLY IN NOLLYWOOD

Anikulapo superstar has spoken out about why it appears that female actors are outperforming their male counterparts.

He stated on the 'Honest Bunch' podcast that there are times when he drives to a movie location and his female colleagues arrive in more expensive cars.

it seems surprising to Kunle Remi because the actor knows much exactly he is paid for the film and he is also aware of how much actresses get paid for the same film.

When asked how they afford their expensive cars, Kunle Remi mentioned that actresses are used to claiming they have multiple sources of income.

The actor stated that this appearance may have a negative impact on newcomers to the industry because they will have high expectations and will be disappointed when they see that the industry is not as it appears.

He said:

"How come the girls seem to be doing better than the men? That is an excellent question.

"When I arrive on set, I probably drive my normal moderate car, and then you see your co-star pull up. PULL UP, not just pull up.

"You start thinking, I'm a leader, right?

"I'm pretty sure I know what the budget for the entire film we're working on is.

"I know how much I was paid; I'm guessing how much you were paid.

"I'm sweating here, and you arrive in a nice car.

"People around you wonder what you're doing differently. What is it that they are doing differently?

"'I'm selling hair,' the ladies will tell you. This is something I'm doing. I have several sources of income.

"Some people have it by ear; we don't know what the conversation is."

"Now, what are the next people coming after you expecting when they get to where you are?

"They believe that because this girl is driving this type of car, the industry is thriving.

"They come in, give their all, give their best, and they don't see what you're saying they're doing,"
