Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo recently took to social media to express her strong condemnation of tribalism and bigotry in Nigeria, particularly in relation to the 2023 gubernatorial election in Lagos State. In a post that has since gone viral, she expressed regret for ever associating with some Yorubas who engage in such behavior.
Specifically, Iyabo Ojo, who is a supporter of the Labour Party candidate, Gbadebo, was highly disappointed in some people who claimed that he is Igbo, rather than a full-blooded Lagosian. She went on to criticize those who engage in tribalistic and bigoted behavior, likening them to racists. She further asked what the Lagos State Government had done for those living in Lagos and expressed disgust at the behavior of such individuals.
