Prominent Yoruba film industry celebrities turned out in droves to celebrate the birthday of Musiliu Akisanya, also known as MC Oluomo, the Chairman of Lagos State Parks and Garages. The celebration was a grand affair that caused the streets of Lagos to shut down, and it came on the heels of the All Progressives Congress (APC) party's recent victory in Lagos State. Many famous actors and actresses, including Dayo Amusa, Olaiya Igwe, Murphy Afolabi, Toyosi, Toyin Adegbola, Bimbo Thomas, Madam Saje, and Wunim, attended the event in their best outfits.
