Ten members of a family who died in a car accident on the Kaduna-Kachia highway while returning from a wedding in Kano have been buried according to Islamic rites. The tragic accident occurred near a village called Makyelli near Idon when their vehicle had a head-on collision with a lorry conveying firewood. All the victims, who were male and family members, died on the spot. They were all from Kano but resided in the Kachia town of Kaduna State
