Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the recent general elections, has voiced his disagreement with the judgment of the Presidential Election Petition Court delivered on Wednesday. He asserted his commitment to exploring all legal avenues available to him in challenging the verdict. Speaking at a press briefing in Onitsha, Anambra State, Obi expressed his intent to appeal the judgment at the Supreme Court, citing his confidence in the process. He urged Nigerians to maintain their dedication to peaceful processes and emphasized that the matter had not reached its conclusion. Obi's legal team has been instructed to file an appeal against the PEPC's decision, as he seeks justice not only for himself but also for his supporters whose electoral mandate he believes was unfairly thwarted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He underscored the importance of transparent and fair electoral processes conducted by INEC and expressed his determination to exhaust the legal process before considering other options.
