The mother of Owodunni Ibrahim, popularly known as Primeboy, and the childhood friend of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has broken her silence in an emotional video.
With tears in her eyes, she passionately appealed to Nigerians, emphasizing her son's innocence in the heartbreaking events surrounding Mohbad's demise.
Reports have indicated that Prime Boy and Mohbad were not just friends but considered each other family. She regarded them as her own sons during Mohbad's lifetime, underscoring the profound connection between the two young men. She vehemently affirmed that her son, Prime Boy, would never harm Mohbad, given the strong bond they shared.
Several days ago, the police had declared Prime Boy a wanted man, as he was allegedly one of the last people seen with Mohbad before the tragic incident.
Following the singer's death, Prime Boy reportedly disappeared, sparking public demands for answers regarding his whereabouts.
In her heartfelt plea, Prime Boy's mother said, "Nigerians, please help me. I am Prime Boy's mother. He is my firstborn. He is innocent. Mohbad's death is a profound loss to me and my son. I am a rice seller, and I don't overstep my boundaries. Mohbad was the one who built the shop where I sell rice. What could I possibly gain from his death? Wicked individuals cut his life short in his prime. Please don't let me mourn my son."
