"My Son Told Me Naira Marley Was Ev!l" Mohbad's Father Reveals (VIDEO)

Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has spoken candidly about his son's interactions with Naira Marley and Sam Larry in an interview with BBC News Yoruba.

In the interview, the grieving father disclosed that Mohbad had expressed concerns about Naira Marley, referring to him as "evil." He also revealed a troubling incident in which his son was allegedly beaten by Sam Larry and reported the matter to the police, but no action was taken.

Part of his statement read, "My son told me Naira Marley was evil. My son passed away around 3 pm, and nobody called me. When I arrived at his house at 10 pm, I found a large crowd. We were denied a police report at the station. We tried to take him to the mortuary, but there was no space, so I had to bury him."

A deeply emotional Mr. Aloba expressed his love for his son and recounted the first time he visited Naira Marley's house, where he witnessed Naira and Mohbad sharing a meal. This moment touched him deeply, as it showcased the bond between the two. However, Mohbad had allegedly conveyed his concerns about Naira Marley's character to his father.

The grieving father further shared a painful incident in which Sam Larry, whom he claimed to have never met before, had beaten his son. Initially, Mohbad asked him not to say anything about it, but eventually, he reported the matter to the police, although no action was taken.

Mr. Aloba emphasized his desire for justice for his late son, stating that as a pastor, he could not resort to traditional methods due to his religious beliefs. He expressed a willingness to undergo a DNA test if required to seek justice for his son.
