Controversy Erupts as Carter Efe Asserts Full Ownership of Young Duu's 'Oyinmo' Song on All Streaming Platforms

Famous comedian Carter Efe is at the center of a music ownership dispute, as he uploaded Young Duu's songs to various streaming platforms without crediting Young Duu or featuring him.

In response to the public backlash, Carter Efe swiftly removed the songs from Boomplay, the Apple Store, and Spotify.

Rapper Olamide clarified on Twitter that Carter Efe only removed the song from Apple Music, and Nigerians are advised to wait for more information to determine if it was an error or intentional.

Many upset fans pointed out that Carter Efe had previously done something similar with Machala's song, where he only gave the original singer 30 percent of the profits.

Wahala Network reported, "A few minutes after Carterefe released 'Oyinmo,' Carterefe removed the song from Apple Music due to an owner name mistake. What's going on? 😳🙆🏾‍♂️🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♂️"
