Nigerian actor Olaniyi Afonja, popularly known as Sanyeri, has expressed his sorrow over the news of veteran comic actor Mr. Ibu's leg amputation. Mr. Ibu had previously sought financial assistance for his medical treatment, and it was reported that he had undergone seven surgeries, including the amputation of one leg, to save his life.
In response to these developments, Olaniyi Afonja shared an old movie clip featuring himself and Mr. Ibu on his official Instagram page and conveyed his heartfelt sentiments. He expressed his sadness upon hearing about Mr. Ibu's leg amputation and offered prayers for Mr. Ibu to live the rest of his life in good health and prosperity. Afonja also wished his colleague a speedy recovery and concluded with the message that "God is in Control."
Afonja's message on Instagram read, "I felt so sad hearing the amputation of your leg @realmribu 😞. I pray that from now on, you'll live the rest of your life in good health and wealth. I wish you quick recovery, my very good brother 🙏. God is in control 🙏."
